EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC LESSON PLANNING
Mini-Course
Hello and welcome to our (free) Early Childhood Music Lesson Planning mini-course!
In this course—which can be submitted as a 1-credit professional development opportunity for music therapists or music educators—I’ll guide you through my process for outlining an entire month of early childhood music classes in under an hour. Together, we’ll use one of my most-loved lesson plans from the Music for Kiddos Resource Community, a membership program offering monthly lesson plans, implementation ideas, personalized support, and access to 650+ early childhood resources. It’s designed to help you save time, reduce stress, and make room for the non-work things you love!
Instructions:
Download the course PDF [below], which includes the song bank worksheet, lesson planning worksheets, and the Snake Preschool & Kindergarten Music Lesson Plan that will be used throughout this course.
After completing all the videos, follow the steps at the bottom of this page to receive your certificate of professional development.
